The Cosatto Springi is a bonnell spring mattress. To provide the best in comfort, support and durability it uses a special bonnell spring design consisting of two types of springs.

The high-tensile (highly resistant to breaking) upright springs provide most of the support and bounce. They can easily withstand a child’s weight and playful antics for years without deteriorating.

Lateral springs complement the main springs, making the mattress more supportive and resistant to sagging or breaking. When well maintained, this mattress can be re-used with another baby.

2. Foam Comfort

The spring core is sandwiched between two layers of medium-firm foam. The foam provides a comfortable sleeping surface and ensures the springs are not felt by the baby.

To ensure the springs do not poke through when your child is jumping up and down, there is a tough polypropylene liner encasing the springs.

2. Breathable, Washable and Water-Resistant Cover

The cover fabric not only ensures the mattress is comfortable, it also keeps your baby safe and healthy.

Anything else you should know?

You don’t need a mattress protector with this mattress. There are two defences against fluids: the water-resistant fabric cover and the water-proof liner. As long as the liner stays on the mattress, it offers adequate protection against fluids.

You can just lay a sheet on the mattress. It’s enough. If there is an accident, it’s easy to remove the mattress cover and wash it.

My view
